I have been "offline" for a bit - having to attend to some personal life situations - which all of us have to go through.
The time is still tough, but we have to continue with our lives and make the best of it all.
Thank you for listening.
“Creating New Horizons From Home” has been a dream of mine for many years. To start my own business, utilising legitimate online opportunities and taking control of my future and my destiny. To be in the position to do those little extras for my family and to be in a situation to share with others in need. It is not just my own Horizon, but for those others as well.

Stay on Course
You've been planning
for the perfect vacation for six months, and now the day is finally
here. The tickets are in your pocket, your bags are packed, and
you're driving to the airport. On the way, you pass a favourite
restaurant and think about how much you like their food. You turn the car
around, go back to the restaurant, walk in, sit down and enjoy a
delicious meal. The only trouble is, by the time you finish eating
you've missed your flight and you don't get to take that vacation
of a lifetime.
Would this ever happen? Of course not. When you're on your way to something you've been working for, planning, and anxiously awaiting, you'd never let a petty distraction throw you off track. Or would you?
Unfortunately, it happens every day. Too often, we let the distractions of the moment deny us our most treasured goals. The next time you're tempted by a distraction, keep in mind where you're already headed and how very much you desire to get there. Ask yourself if you would prefer to have the distraction or the goal you've set for yourself. Rather than hopping from one empty distraction to another, focus your effort
and attention toward those things which will bring true and lasting fulfilment.

Need to give our best all time
We sometimes quit even before we start. We don't think we
are strong enough sometimes or it is just simply impossible. But we have to
endure it for in the end it is worth it. We need to give our best all the time,
in everything we do.

How wealth is judged
- Author Anonymous
A week ago the sycamore tree was loaded with gold. However, instead of sitting back and enjoying it, it began to give it away. At first it was just a leaf here and a leaf there, whenever the wind asked for a contribution. But soon it was giving it away in fistfuls, without even being asked, and without a thought for a wintry tomorrow.
Wealth is judged, not by the amount that is accumulated, but by the amount that is given away.
The only wealth that is worth having is the wealth of the heart. To close one's heart is to begin to die; to open it is to begin to live.

The 18th Camel
A father left 17 camels as an asset to his
three sons.
When the father passed away, his sons read
his Will. The Will stated that the eldest son should get half of the
total camels, while the middle son should be given one-third, and the youngest
son should be given one-ninth of the total camels.
As it was not possible to divide 17 into
half or 17 by 3 or 17 by 9, and the three sons started to fight with each
other. They then decided to go to a wise man. The wise man read the Will
patiently. After giving it due thought, he brought one camel of his own and added
it to the 17 camels. That increased the total to 18 camels.
Then he started reading the deceased
father's Will:
·
Half of 18 = 9. So he gave the eldest son
9 camels.
·
1/3rd of 18 = 6. So he gave the middle son
6 camels.
·
1/9th of 18 = 2. So he gave the youngest
son 2 camels.
Now add this up: 9 + 6 + 2= 17. That
leaves one camel, which the wise man took back.
Moral of the story: The attitude of
negotiation and problem solving is to find the 18th camel, i.e. the common ground.
Once a person is able to find the 18th camel the issue is resolved.
It is difficult at times. However, to
reach a solution, the first step is to believe that there is a solution. If we
think that there is no solution, we won't be able to reach any!
